Kohlschein GmbH has sold the first new SK55SRX in Austria. Like all Kobelco short radius excavators also this machine is equipped with the Japanese brand’s superior iNDr (integrated Noise & Dust reduction) technology. This superior method of dust filtration, combined with exceptional engine cooling, reduces engine noise output to a new level, making the SK55SRX perfect for urban work.

The SK55SRX is driven by the latest specification Yanmar 2.189 cc diesel engine and is exceptionally fuel efficient, even when delivering maximum levels of power and torque (28.3 kW/131 Nm). Kobelco has equipped the SK55SRX with a dynamic triple-oil pump system (IFPS – Integrated Flow Pump System), which aids simultaneous fast and smooth work operation. The huge traction force of 55 kN means best in class by far. Needless to say, the SK55SRX is an exceptional, powerful performer but at the same time returns the lowest fuel consumption in class. Combined with exceptional lifting and working capacities, the SK55SRX is the optimal machine for restricted working space.

Commenting on the sale of the first SK55SRX, Kohlschein Baumaschinenhandel GmbH managing director, Stefan Jonke, said: “The introduction of the technically advanced SK55SRX supplements the already available line-up of Japanese-manufactured Kobelco short-radius excavators perfectly.”

The machine shown here is equipped with Powertilt and hydraulic quick coupler. The maximum digging depth thus is about 4,2m, the maximum digging reach approx. 6,5m.
