With the new models SK180-10 and SK300-10 the Kobelco product range will be supplemented by 2 further models. The SK180 is available as a LC-version with a width of 2.8m as well as an N-version with a width of 2.49m (500mm shoes).

Both newcomers also have some common characteristics:

- Both models are driven with engines of the respective next larger excavator (SK210 and SK350)
- Both models have the same driving motors as the heavier models SK210 and SK350, which leads to unrivaled traction forces
- Both model use the very latest in ‘clean technology’. Advanced systems featured are: DOC (Diesel Oxidisation Catalyst), and the combination of SCR (Selective Catalyst Reduction) and DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter)
- Both models come as standard with a rear-view and side camera with an additional monitor in the cabin
